Adelaide

The Capital City of South Australia, Adelaide and its surrounds have a lot to offer. From the Adelaide Hills wine region, to Hahndorf, to some incredible   beaches - all can be found within 20 minutes of the city.

Top things to See

Beaches

Glenelg, Semaphore, Henley, Brighton and Grange Beaches are within 20 minutes of Adelaide City and can be reached by tram or bus. These beaches have long stretches of white sand and clear waters with perfect sunsets.

 

Wineries

The Adelaide Hills is a standout among South Australia's wine regions, well-known for its award-winning cool-climate wines, there are over 50 cellar door experiences in the Adelaide Hills. 

 

Hahndorf

Located 25 minutes from Adelaide, Hahndorf is Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement and still has a strong German flavour most evident in the smallgoods outlets, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and cafes that line the bustling main street. 

Adelaide Oval

The Adelaide Oval is one of the best sporting Venues in Australia. Cricket in Summer and Australian Football in winter - try to go and see a match. If you want something unique then there is a Roof Climb, Stadium Tour or Oval Hotel for something different.

Food & Drink

Apart from its unique and odd food items (see the Pie Floater) Adelaide also has some amazing restaurants and is home to some of Australia's best restaurants and chefs. The Adelaide CBD also has some incredible little bars in Leigh  Peel Streets.
